Steven C. McGaver

Biography

Steve McGaver is a shareholder with Crivello Carlson, S.C. His practice areas include a diverse mix of litigation cases including civil, criminal, municipal, health, employment, professional licensing and white collar defense.

Steve is a 2006 graduate of Marquette University Law School, cum laude. He joined the firm in 2019 after practicing in Milwaukee for the past 14 years. His skill and drive is not only apparent to his clients, it has also caught the attention of his law colleagues. Steve has been recognized as a AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell, he has been awarded a 10.0 Rating by AVVO, and he has been recognized as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers since 2009--an honor bestowed on only 2.5 percent of attorneys in Wisconsin.

Steve lives in the Milwaukee area with his wife and two children.  He enjoys cooking, boating, fishing, watersports, volunteering at his children’s schools, and spending time with family. Steve is also an avid ice hockey player. Having played virtually his entire life, he still skates several nights of the week for numerous area teams and coaches his children’s youth teams
