Biography:
Sam Hall joined Crivello Carlson in 2010 and is a shareholder with the firm. During law school, Sam was a member of the Marquette Sports Law Review and was a St. Thomas More Scholar for three years. His principal practice focuses on constitutional law, appellate practice, products liability litigation and sports and entertainment law. Sam has successfully defended many law enforcement officers and municipalities in cases involving allegations of excessive force and other civil rights violations. He created and manages the website www.uselegalforce.com in an effort to keep law enforcement officers and other interested parties advised of recent legal developments in civil rights cases throughout the country.
Sam has also successfully represented a number of performing artists, producers, management companies, and facilities within the sports and entertainment industry. Sam’s practice has also included the defense of many product manufacturers throughout the country.
Sam has successfully briefed and/or argued cases before the United States Supreme Court, Wisconsin Supreme Court, Wisconsin Court of Appeals and the Seventh and Third Circuit Courts of Appeals and has been selected for the Wisconsin Super Lawyers Rising Stars list multiple times for his legal work.
As an active member of the community, Sam is involved in numerous philanthropic organizations, including serving on the board of directors for the Vision of Hope Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships to disadvantaged Milwaukee students.
