Our next Surety Association meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 18th, 2009. We are changing up the format and venue a bit so please take careful notice.
The meeting will be held at the Doubletree Hotel, 18155 W. Bluemound Rd, Brookfield (between Calhoun and Barker). Presentation starts at 10:00……and a luncheon buffet will be served at its conclusion (noonish).
Our speaker will be Joshua Levy of Crivello Carlson, S.C. Joshua joined Crivello Carlson, S.C. as a shareholder in 2005. He served as General Counsel and V.P. of HR for Westra Construction, Inc. from 2002-2005. Before that, Josh was a shareholder at Beck, Chaet & Bamberger, S.C. His practice encompasses construction litigation in state and federal courts and arbitrations; OSHA hearings; commercial trials in state and federal courts; employment litigation in courts and administrative proceedings; and an array of client services designed to avoid litigation where possible. Litigation avoidance involves business counseling when disputes are imminent and structures to develop before disputes arise. Josh is a member of the Associated Builders and Contractors, the Wisconsin, American and Milwaukee Bar Associations and is the Chapter Counsel for the Association of Licensed Architects-Wisconsin Chapter.
