Trial Success
07/15/2011 - Jeff Nichols has recently had a series of success in three trials in the last three months. In the first trial Jeff defended a farmer who was being sued after a bull gored an employee on his farm. The Green County jury found the plaintiff more negligent than Jeff's client precluding any recovery by plaintiff.
In a change of pace, Jeff then successfully tried a case in Dodge County, Wisconsin where his client received a money verdict as a result of the injuries sustained in an automobile accident that occurred in Missouri. In that case Jeff's client sustained soft tissue injuries that the jury awarded just compensation.
More recently, Jeff successfully defended a truck driver who was sued for rear ending a vehicle on the highway. The Milwaukee County jury agreed with Jeff's argument that plaintiff suddenly unexpectedly cut in front of Jeff's client causing the accident. The jury found plaintiff to be 100% a cause of the accident and found only $4,600.00 of his $168,000.00 in medical expenses related to the accident.
