Defense Verdict
06/22/2010 - On June 17, 2010, Lawrence J. Drabot received a defense verdict in a trial before Judge Charles Clevert in Federal District Court, Western District of Wisconsin. The jury found no causation and awarded plaintiff no damages. Plaintiff, an over-the-road truck driver, claimed that Defendant's forklift struck him as he was waiting for his truck to be loaded. Defendant denied that any incident or accident ever occurred. Plaintiff claimed knee and back injuries, as well as a rotator cuff tear, but did not report the incident until the following day and after driving over 300 miles to find a hospital.
