Attorneys Amy Doyle and Steve McGaver and Paralegal Jennifer Nickerson obtained a full defense verdict after a two day jury trial before the Honorable Lynn Adelman in federal court. The case involved five Waukesha County Corrections Officers who were sued on claims of excessive force. The jury deliberated for a little more than an hour (including lunch) before determining that these corrections officer did not use excessive force other otherwise violate the plaintiff’s Constitutional rights.
